Mitchell Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1932 by L.S. Mitchell, Sr. In 1951 Lloyd Mitchell Jr. joined the firm. The name was appropriately changed to L.S. Mitchell and Son. Lloyd Jr. later left the company and his brother, James Mitchell, joined his father in the family business in 1959. Lloyd Sr. retired in 1960 and the company became Mitchell Construction Company. It was incorporated in the 1970’s and James Mitchell remained president of the corporation until Carl Brown, our current president, took over in 1993.
